What ordering and payment options do I have?

There are 3 easy ways to order:

By Web via Credit Card or PayPal

In the History Shop with the following: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express via our secure payment gateway. PayPal also accepted.

By Phone

You may order and pay for store items via Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express by calling 239-829-5638.

By Mail or Fax

To order products by mail or fax, download an order form here, enclose either credit card billing info, check or money order and mail or fax it to:

We accept institutional purchase orders from schools and libraries. Our terms are net 30.

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged the same day we enter your order on our system, usually within one business day. Once your order has successfully been entered into our system, we will send an order confirmation via email if you have supplied an email address. This way you can be sure that we have received your order and it has been processed.

We value your privacy. We do not share, rent, or sell any of your personal information with any person, company, or entity. Personal information is only used as required to service your account and/or orders.

Back Issue Refund Policy

Back issues will NOT be refunded. The contents of each issue are well documented on the web site. Please be certain that you want to purchase the issue before buying.

All Other Products Refund Policy

All products must be returned in original packaging in new condition within 30 days of shipping. An RMA number must be requested from customer service prior to returning merchandise. Products returned without an RMA will not be honored or acknowledged. Shipping & handling charges are not refundable.

Order Never Arrived or Arrived Damaged

As much as we love the USPS, it does occasionally lose or damage mail. If this happens, please contact customer service. We will gladly ship you a replacement.


Subscription Fulfillment Policy

Why is it taking so long to get the issues owed to me?
Customer response to our offer has been much stronger than anticipated. We expected approximately ten to fifteen percent of subscribers to respond to our offer. The response rate has exceeded well over fifty percent.

When can I expect to receive my subscription fulfillment issues?
We are shipping at a rate of ten to twenty subscriber requests per shipping day (we ship 3 days a week). We are currently working on requests received October 12th. We have now filled over 1200 subscriber requests and have approximately 60 to go. We are getting near the end. Please note that if you have requested Ancient Rome and have not received your order we are holding those requests for our third printing of Ancient Rome. We anticipate completing printing in October. Thank you for your patience.

Can you verify that you received my request?
We can not verify that a request was received. It is simply impossible to sort through all the faxes and mail to look for one request.
